700K New Followers for Global Media Organization

We expanded the reach of a global media organization.

The Problem

A global media organization housing multiple brands—television shows, podcasts, conferences, books, and more—had a problem they were struggling to overcome... they didn't have the same reach or impact on social media as they had in other areas. With a dated approach to social, the reach and engagement was low, causing stagnation in their online growth and hindering their message.

The Process

Despite housing multiple global television shows, video content wasn't being utilized to the fullest extent on the brand social channels. We recognized the trend towards video content on social and saw this as a big missed opportunity, creating a stronger video strategy to increase the reach. With a lot of debate over the approach, we scripted, filmed, and edited the first video, and it went organically viral reaching over 1M people. This was just the beginning as we began to bring a more authentic, relational approach to the pages, building on video content as a key player for increased exposure. In addition to revamping the social efforts, we also worked heavily on website and funnel improvements, product launches, conference promotion, blog content, email marketing, and more.

The Result

✅ Over the course of three years, we garnered over 700K new followers across three main brand entities.

✅ Created a viral campaign that tripled their following during COVID-19.

✅ Supported the successful launch and promotion of over nineteen books and curricula as well as over six live events.
